About our Kennel
Miyagi Kozaki Kennel has been registered at Akitainu Introduction Foundation (Akiho) since August 1969. It is named after Yamagata Kagami Kennel, the best kennel then run by Mr.Kagami who was a star in Akita-inu world.
Located in the countryside, a farming area called Osaki. The size of the kennel is over 1600 square meters
altogether and dogs are kept in individual cages in three doghouses. In tems of its space and the number of Akita dogs, we are one of the biggest kennels in Japan.
We have between 30 to 50 Akita dogs throughout the year: consist of almost the same number of males and females along with around 8 puppies. We welcome you to visit us – please do not be surprised by the dogs’ warm bt loud welcome.

| Akita puppies | They are kept with us till 3 months old. Because of the export procedures, the youngest one to be exported is 4months old. |

| shipping | We will ask you to pay the actual cost. |
| payment | Only by bank transfer. Please pay the bank charge at your end. If you wish to pick up the dog by yourself, payment can be done by cash when you visit to us. |
| for overseas customers | Please allow us to have about a month to export your dog(s) in order to follow your country’s regulation. In addition to the dog price, please bear the other expense such as health check by veterinary, microchip, rables shots, other legal requirements and transportation from the kennel to the airpot. |

Do you wish to meet our Akitas?
It takes 15 minutes from Furukawa Interchange, Tohoku Expressway to our kennel.
If you come by Tohoku Shinkansen, we will pick you up at Furukawa Station.
